For my daughter’s 9th birthday party she wanted to get friends together for a painting party. Because the weather was iffy, and we definitely needed a set-up that gave every artist their elbow room, we turned to Painting with a Twist, a local painting party franchise. It worked out really well, as we had space for painting, eating, and were even able to set-up a bar and snack area for parents!
We were able to bring in all the decorations, food and drink, allowing us to truly personalize the space. I used a roll of wrapping paper as a table runner, found coordinating disposable plates and napkins at Party City and used paint swatches to hold all the cutlery together.

and the cake was a nail biter, as I had never worked with the “dripped” chocolate technique and wanted it to look like paint dripping out of a can:
