Happy Fall Y’All! I have not written in awhile but am so excited to now be sharing a weekly blog post, beginning with my #favoritefindsforfall. Fall is my fav-or-ite season, filled with the beautiful colors of changing leaves, chilly sweater weather, football games and lots of family birthdays and celebrations!
This time of year I am often looking for ways to refresh my wardrobe, as well as add cozy elements to my home. One of my fav fall wardrobe staples is the blazer, so much so that when paired with jeans, my kids tease me that it is my uniform. Blazers provide the perfect polished look and this fall is no exception, with beautiful options in wools, tweeds and more. Here are a few I love:
As the weather grows colder, we never seem to have enough blankets for everyone wanting to snuggle up on the couch. Especially now, when weekend date nights have become family movie nights. Here are a few that are both beautiful and cozy:
I love candles year round, but the scents for fall are some of my favorites. I am not particularly fond of the stronger scents (hello, burning a vanilla flavored candle is totally counterproductive to my plan to eat less sweets) but this one from Nest is just enough scent to bring the feeling of fall inside. Mmmmmmmm…..
Fall decor at our house means bringing out the cozy, warmer bedding; swapping out throw pillows to reflect the colors of the season; and planning front porch decor that will carry through to Thanksgiving. This is the wreath I ordered for my Mom last year for Thanksgiving, to thank her for being the hostess with the mostess, and I plan to get one to decorate my own home this year:
In other news, as the weather turns chillier, my skin rebels. For all of you with amazing dewy skin year round…keep on scrolling:) But for those like me that need extra moisture for your hair and skin, I have been using this product for several years now and it is awesome for hydration, FYI:
